A century-old white oak with a major structural crack at the union threatened a Weston colonial. We worked with the property owner’s insurance carrier on documentation, rigged sections down by crane to protect the driveway and roof line, and ground the 42-inch stump to 12 inches below grade. Two-day job, no damage to the house, full property cleanup before leaving the site.
Storm Response: Microburst Cleanup in Needham, MA
After a July microburst snapped six mature maples along a Needham cul-de-sac, three of our crews responded within four hours. We cleared driveways and roads before the utility company arrived for line work, then returned the next two days to remove the downed trees and grind the stumps. Coordinated with two neighbors’ insurance adjusters for documentation.
